My mom's name is Christie. She truely is the best mom in the world. She had me when she was 18, and I think that's why we're so close. We've been through hell and back together and I admire her for being so strong through everything. She was adopted, and was raised in San Fransico, California. Everyday she writes down something that she's thankful for.
My mom and I can act completely silly together, and I can tell her everything and she really listens. I think the thing that I love the most about her is that she actually wants to know how school is going for me, and how my social life is. I can walk into stores with her and try on silly hats or clothes with her, something that I do with my friends, and have a blast. I can honestly say that my mother is my hero. I couldnt ask for a better mom.

Sweetest thing ever....love you both!
ReplyDeleteI love you too, Jennifer! (:
ReplyDeleteI totally want to be friends with your mom now :) I was always close with my mom (still am) and I find it so sad when my students don't feel close with their parents. To see your relationship through your writing is inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI said the very same thing about you Mrs. Flurry, the day we went to Lexi's back to school night. Thank you for being such an inspiration to Lexi and all of you students! -Christie
